The glamorous Real Housewives of Jersey star Tessa Hartmann recently appeared on GMB to have a fiery debate with Kerry Katona over swimwear.
Chaos ensued as the two mums fought over whether young girls should be sold padded bikinis, with Tessa then going on to hit out at Kerry for her OnlyFans account.
Tessa argued that padded bikinis give modesty for children going through puberty, while Kerry said they are completely inappropriate and sexualise young people.
It was only when Richard Madeley stepped in to break up the ‘lively’ debate did the two pause for breath.
For many, this won’t be the first time they’ve seen Tessa’s face.
Not only is Tessa a more ever-present personality on reality TV – but her daughter Talia Storm is a singer who has previously appeared on shows like Celebs Go Dating.
Who is Tessa Hartmann?
The feisty Scottish-born TV personality is the daughter of millionaire industrialist John Fortune Fraser, who died in 2019.
At 51, she is a mega-rich mum of four, based between Glasgow, London and her mansion in Jersey.
A self-described ‘eternal hustler’, Hartmann started her own PR agency Hartmann Media with her husband Sascha in 1996. Together they went on to represent major fashion brands, from Ralph Lauren, to Louis Vuitton and Swarovski.
Since then, Tessa has gone on to set up The Scottish Fashion Awards and was given a CBE in 2016 for her contribution to fashion.
In addition to fashion PR, Tessa has also produced two family cartoons called Sir Billi starring Sean Connery as voiceover – and worked as manager for her musician daughter Talia Storm.
Tessa is also a fighter who went through surgery and chemotherapy to overcome breast cancer back in 2017.
Tessa told the Daily Record – ‘Setbacks will be part of your everyday world but it’s how you handle them that counts. Women definitely need to jump through more hoops than men to get things done or actioned.’
Real Housewives of Jersey
Tessa made her glam debut on Real Housewives of Jersey in December 2020 after moving to the island off the coast of England a few years prior.
Speaking back in 2020, Tess said ‘I have tried to be my authentic self [on the show], which requires vulnerability, transparency and integrity. I am a wife, mother and businesswoman – in that order!’
‘I put my family first and work very, very hard. I didn’t come into this show to make new friends – I have my family and an old circle of girlfriends.’
It certainly seems that Tessa is not interested in befriending Kerry following their spat on GMB – but it she is continuing filming with her fellow housewives in Jersey.
Tessa has been spotted on the set of the next season of Real housewives of Jersey season 2, which should be on screens towards the end of summer.
