Made In Chelsea star Ollie Locke and his husband Gareth Locke-Locke will become fathers in nine months’ time, the delighted newlyweds have confirmed.
The couple, who married on the E4 reality show last season, are currently in America, where they sought a surrogate to carry their child.
Sharing the heartwarming news, Ollie posted a video of the moment their eggs were fertilised, a poignant milestone in their journey towards becoming fathers.
“I’m not crying, your crying!” he wrote in the caption, before explaining: “This is the very moment our eggs were fertilised…
“In 9 months time, after being looked after by a very wonderful human we hope to be able to show you what he or she looks like and how much love we have to give!

“I cannot wait to meet you little one and to be your daddy with @garethplocke Xx thank you @advancedfertilitycentercancun for being so wonderful Xx”.
Ollie and Gareth have documented their journey to fatherhood in the current season of Made In Chelsea, even getting the nursery renovated in their London home while filming in Oxfordshire.
Last month, they announced they were temporarily relocating to America for the IVF treatment, receiving permission to travel based on medical grounds.

In a shared statement, they wrote: “The last year has been super tough on everyone and the joint effort of everyone has made a huge effect on all of us collectively getting past the restrictions and difficulties of Covid-19.
“Respectfully and excitingly we wanted to post and make an announcement that we have travelled across the world and under medical exemptions to begin our IVF and surrogacy journey.
“We know that you have loved watching our journey so far and we can’t wait to take you on the new adventure with us on the other side of the world, and with any luck we might have some very exciting good news for you in the coming months!”

Ollie and Gareth, who coincidentally share the same surname, married last winter in London’s Natural History Museum, which was beautifully lit up by candles to mark the occasion.
Their Made In Chelsea co-stars Binky Felstead and Olivia Bentley were bridesmaids on the night, with just 13 guests in attendance during the intimate exchanging of vows.
Musing over the ceremony, Ollie told HELLO!: “It was so elegant, so incredibly beautiful and so special. It was very unique and very ‘us’. I love living my life as a romcom and it was exactly how we wanted it. I knew it was going to change our lives forever.”
Gareth added: “It was something I will remember for the rest of my life and it was perfect.”
