Miley Cyrus wows fans in skimpy rainbow bikini as she celebrates Pride

Miley Cyrus flaunted her figure on Instagram this weekend when she shared a stunning snap of herself wearing a skimpy bikini.

The 28-year-old who rose to fame in 2006 when she portrayed the character, Hannah Montana on the Disney channel, showed off her sizzling body while she lounged about in a microscopic crocheted bikini.

Displaying her toned midsection and her unique tattoos, the singer looked relaxed and fresh-faced.

In the Instagram story that she uploaded on Saturday, she inserted a glittery rainbow GIF and tagged the account of her LGBTQ-focused organisation, the Happy Hippie Foundation.

The Happy Hippie Foundation is an American nonprofit charitable organisation founded by Miley.

The star founded the organisation in September 2014 with the goal of providing aid to LGBTQ youths in need. It officially launched to the public on May 5 2015.

The foundation has a focus on the LGBTQ community, youth homelessness (particularly among LGBTQ youth), the LGBTQ community and other vulnerable and marginalised populations.

Before the star founded the nonprofit foundation, she was well-known for her philanthropy and enthusiasm to participate in projects that aided struggling people in a positive way.

Speaking about her own sexuality in the past, Miley said, “I never want to label myself! I am ready to love anyone that loves me for who I am! I am open.”

She has also stated she is “literally open to every single thing that is consenting and doesn’t involve an animal and everyone is of age”.

By 2016, Happy Hippie and My Friend’s Place (an LA based charity helping homeless youth) had donated “40,000 meals, 20,000 snacks, and 40,000 pairs of underwear and socks” to homeless children.

To provide a safe, moderated space to discuss gender, the Happy Hippie Foundation has also hosted a digital meet-up with Gender Spectrum.

As a result of donations received, Gender Spectrum was able to begin hosting weekly digital support groups serving over 1,300 transgender youths and their families.

2018 saw Miley launch a Pride-themed apparel collection which included shoes from Converse. Many of the items within this collection featured the foundation’s logo.
