Coronation Street star Kate Spencer has revealed she’s engaged to her boyfriend Paul Walker.
The 29-year-old actress, who plays Grace Vickers in the ITV soap, has logged onto her Instagram page to share a snap of her stunning engagement ring with fans.
She penned to her followers on Sunday evening: ” “After the Tomahawk steak, before the Tiramisu, and with a coffee in hand, he turned me into an absolute blubbering mess. A million times over, completely and utterly yes.”
The soap star shared a number of snaps from the sweet proposal to announced the sweet relationship news.
One photo sees Kate beaming as she flashes her engagement ring while stood next to her new fiancé Paul.
She then used hashtags on her post including “all of the tears” and “marrying my best friend”.
Unsurprisingly, Kate’s exciting Instagram grid update caught the attention of her followers, with some rushing to leave a message for the star in the comment section.
Corrie co-star Alexandra Mardell, who plays Emma Brooker, penned: “Congratulations.”
Nina Lucas actress Mollie Gallagher added: “Awh congratulations.”
Another fan penned: “Super mega massive congratulations very happy for you guys.”
While a fourth follower gushed: “Congratulations, so happy for you both.”
Kate joined the cast of Corrie in 2019 as mysterious character Grace, the girlfriend of Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell).
Before landing her role in the serial drama, the 29-year-old TV personality starred in Doctors and Survive the Night on TV as well as on stage in Alice in Wonderland, and Great Expectations.
She dramatically changed her image before joining the cast of Coronation Street and lost almost four stone.
Now fiancé Paul helped Kate shed the pounds with a combination of yoga, running and boxing.

Speaking to Daily Star about her body transformation in September last year, Kate said: “I started training because I wanted to see physical changes, but I’ve realised there are so many more benefits than just losing weight.
“Mentally, I’m stronger, more confident and more resilient – which are pretty vital in this industry.”
“Running and training gives me the time and space to just be in my own head.”
