Piers Morgan shares sickening messages from troll who told him to kill himself

Former Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan has exposed a cruel troll on Twitter who told him that he should kill himself.

The outspoken host revealed the appalling death threat messages he received from the relentless troll online.

Piers, 56, confidently took to social media to share the string of abusive messages he received in a series of screenshots and told the preparator to “enjoy his day”.

The father-of-four informed his 7.9million followers on Twitter of what had taken place and he made sure that he didn’t hold back.

Piers also ensured he exposed the culprit’s Instagram profile picture and name while providing his fans with further insight into the horrid messages he had received from the user.

The former GMB presenter has revealed that he has been the victim of online abuse

Taking to Twitter to express his thoughts on the matter, Piers said: “This guy likes to abuse me on Instagram but prefers to do it quietly via DM.

“So I thought it only fair to share his abuse with nearly eight million people on here. Enjoy your day,” he quipped, followed by a thumbs up emoji.

The outlandish messages that the presenter received from the troll included an array of abusive language and threats, labelling him as a w*** head and a c***.

Another message said: “How’s your payroll with all this Covid f***ing post puppet you mate.”

Shocked by the disgusting messages, Piers’ fans quickly rushed to his defence and shared their support for the star in their replies.

One follower penned: “Why are people so horrid? Would he be like that to your face? How must he treat other people? That’s quite sad.”

A second follower agreed and said: “I seriously do not understand this behaviour. You don’t have to like everyone, just scroll along and ignore or enter into sensible discourse.”

While others felt that the Life Stories host shouldn’t have given the troll the attention he desperately craved.

Taking to Twitter one fan wrote: “He’s got a reaction out of you and publicity, you’ve played right into his hands.”

Another said: “He craved the attention, he’s now received it from you.”

But some tweeters felt that Piers had it coming, accusing him of treating Meghan Markle in a similar way on social media.

“And yet you do the same with Meghan Markle?” One said.

While a second chimed: “That is what you are doing to Harry and Meghan.”

Although the troll was cruel to Piers, this isn’t the first time he’s faced intimidating behaviour online.

The star previously confessed that an online bully once threatened to murder him in front of his children.

He also mentioned that his three sons also became targets of the online abuse.

Speaking on the incident at the time, the journalist expressed: “None of them even care about Meghan Markle, let alone agree with my views on her. Yet the Twitter troll mob has found them guilty by association.

“One troll vowed to murder me in front of them, and added, ‘When your dad dies, the world will have a party.’

“Normally, I revel in the noise. But unregulated social media, as anyone in the public eye will confirm, has got increasingly vicious and nasty.”
