Former Love Island contestant Megan Barton-Hanson has revealed that she hopes this season’s contestants don’t hold back when it comes to on-screen sex.
Megan, who reached the final in 2018 has opened up in an interview with The Sun, saying: “I hope they just go out there and enjoy themselves.”
The 27-year-old who didn’t mind that the cameras were rolling when she slept with Eyal Booker and Wes Nelson on the show, reckons contestants could be more frisky than ever before thanks to a year of social distancing.
“I think we’re in for a good series.” she teased.
With odds of 2/1 on the new Islanders coupling up for a romp in the first week, the bookies are predicting the raunchiest season of Love Island yet, reports The Sun.
‘I’m super-excited for it. I’ve just missed it so much.
“It’s part of everyone’s summer. From your nan to the married man who insists he only watches it because his wife has it on, everyone deep down secretly loves it.”
With prior experience from being on the show, she urged the new Islanders who will be strutting into the famous villa not to play it safe, revealing that “you’ve got to be a bit selfish”.
Megan encourages the contestants to take risks and to try not worry about being disliked, as this could lead them in the wrong direction and mean they miss out on romantic connections.

Talking about her on-screen romps, Megan also revealed in her interview that after leaving the villa, she was often asked about her decision to go all the way in front of cameras.
Megan was always quizzed about having sex on-screen, but these questions were never posed to the boys who she slept with.
The 27-year-old model thinks this is because they wanted her to feel ashamed, but not Wes who she was coupled up with.
Megan explained to the paper how men have it easy compared to women. “There is still so much stigma around women even saying they enjoy sex, let alone doing it on national TV.
“I hope it doesn’t stop the girls there this year from living their life. Sex is a natural part of life.”
Megan said it highlighted the fact that there is “so much stigma around women enjoying sex”.
Although the blonde bombshell refuses to be ashamed of her choices, she did try to hide her on-screen romps.
Attempting to cover up microphones that had been placed in the headboard, before being told by producers to stop fiddling with equipment.
Love Island will be catapulting onto our screens tonight for the first time since January 2020, after last summer’s season was halted due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
With the first disabled contestant, a stunning pageant queen, and the Daily Star’s very own Page 3 star, Shannon Singh, being announced as stars of Love Island 2021 last week we’re sure to be set for a steamy season this summer.
