Cheryl and Liam Payne have been seen together for the first time in three years.
The former couple, who have a son Bear Payne together, were snapped attending the birthday party of Liam’s niece in Wolverhampton over the weekend.
Looking stylish as ever, Cheryl, who is set to make her live comeback at Mighty Hoopla Festival in September, opted for a purple princess skirt and white PVC heels.
Looking catwalk ready, Cheryl teamed her large skirt with a quirky grey oversized hoodie.
Meanwhile, Liam, 27, kept things casual in a pair of long black shorts and a dark Givenchy hoodie.
Cheryl and Liam were seen unloading their swanky 4X4 at the home of the party where the youngster was celebrating her first birthday.
Bear, four, was not seen with them.
Liam and Cheryl have remained close for the sake of their son despite calling time on their relationship in 2018.
It’s thought that Love Made Me Do It singer Cheryl has been single ever since.
However, Liam recently came out of a three-year relationship with model Maya Henry.
The Strip That Down crooner popped the question last summer to Maya but reportedly lockdown had put pressure on their romance.
Speaking frankly last month, Liam admitted that he isn’t very good at relationships as he ends up “hurting people”.
Liam said: “I feel like more than anything at this point, I’m more disappointed in myself that I keep on hurting people.
“That annoys me. I’ve just not been very good at relationships. And I know what my pattern of things is with relationships at this point.
“I’m just not very good at them so I just need to work on myself before I put myself on to somebody else. That’s what happened with my last relationship.”
He added on Steven Bartlett’s podcast he has “been sober just over a month now”.
Despite his split with Cheryl, Liam has only spoken highly of the starlet in public.
In April he told Glamour mag that Cheryl is the best person to co-parent with.
He said: “[There is] no stress involved.
“It’s very, very relaxed, and we spend a lot of time on FaceTime.
“And it’s been really lovely, and I’m closer to them than I’ve ever been before, actually, which is really, really nice.
“But bedtime FaceTime can go really well sometimes.”
Explaining how he is keeping out of Cheryl’s home to reduce any potential changes of spreading Covid, Liam added: “I bought him some toys yesterday that I showed them on the FaceTime and it was like I had to go and travel over and hand the toys over the fence.”
