Love Island viewers were left in shock after Daily Star’s Page 3 babe Shannon Singh was dumped from the villa in record time – but none were more stunned than previous islanders themselves.
Many took to Twitter to share their disbelief, but Nas Majeed and Eva Zapico decided to share their thoughts through their YouTube channel.
Speaking candidly in the video, Nas said of Shannon’s exit: “I am in genuine disbelief. I feel so sorry for her.
“She was in the villa for a day and a half. It’s been on for three days but it’s a day and a half in the villa and she’s already got the boot.”
Eva added: “My heart sank. I think hers did as well, you could literally see her reading out the text like… what?
“I get that people have to go, but they usually give you a warning and they’re like you have 24 hours to couple up with someone or you’re gone.
“There’s usually a warning, but this was savage. This was too savage for it to even be good. I think it was too harsh.”
Nas said that Shannon was another victim of “gone too soon”, with Eva adding that she “didn’t have a chance”.
Speaking from his experience, Nas said: “What you like to see is people being a bit shy in the show at first and then people grow into the process and they have an amazing journey.
“I think she’s been robbed of that, but that’s the beauty of Love Island at the end of the day.”
Eva explained that producers tell you to not expect anything when you go on, with the pair adding that “nothing is guaranteed”.
Following Shannon’s exit, fans were quick to share their hopes that she would be brought back into the villa as a bombshell – and so were Nas and Eva.
In their video, Eva said: “I would love it if she was brought back in as a bombshell. She’s too peng to have left on day two.”
Theories about Shannon’s return are particularly focusing on Casa Amor – so will she come back? We’ll have to wait and see…
Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm
