Actress Sheridan Smith and her fiancé Jamie Horn announced that they are separating from each other after a three year relationship.
The couple, who met on Tinder in 2018, welcomed a baby boy to the world in May 2020, naming him Billy.
The pair confirmed the separation with “great sadness” and announced they had decided to have “some time apart”.
Sheridan, 40, and Jamie, 31, met through the popular dating app and the BAFTA winning actress got engaged to the unknown ex-insurance broker some time after.
In a joint statement to The Sun on Sunday, the couple said: “It is with great sadness that we have decided to have some time apart.
“We both remain completely committed to raising our beautiful boy Billy together. We ask that you respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you.”
The couple featured in an ITV documentary last year which looked at the Cilla star’s journey during her pregnancy, called ‘Sheridan Smith: Becoming Mum’.
In January 2015 Sheridan dated married dad-of-three Greg Wood following his split from wife Catherine Milburn.
Before that, she dated fellow star James Corden between 2007 and 2009 before short lived romances with Ross McCall and Reg Traviss, Amy Winehouse’s former boyfriend.
Sheridan is one of the country’s biggest entertainment stars, said to be worth in excess of £17million.
She has featured in some of the public’s best loved comedies and programmes including Gavin and Stacey, Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, and Jonathan Creek.
