Coronation Street’s Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) ends her relationship with Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) next week after finding out about his night with Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan).
Daisy and Ryan get talking after she finds a way for him to make money as a DJ, rather than a restaurant manager.
She manages to convince Rovers landlady Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) to create a mobile pub for punters in their garden, with a live DJ setting the mood.
As they get started with event planning for Simon Barlow’s 18th birthday in Victoria Gardens, Alya started to suspect Daisy is after her boyfriend.
After the party went down a treat, Ryan sung Daisy’s praises, only for Alya to warn she is likely trying to steal him for herself.
Ryan quickly shook off her concerns and later ended up spending an evening drinking cocktails with Daisy.
With Ryan drunk in the backroom, Alya bursted into the pub, hoping to find him, only for Daisy to refuse to reveal his whereabouts.
When Alya left, Daisy returned to Ryan and made her move, trying her best to get him into bed.
The barman wakes up in Daisy’s bed this next morning and begs her not to let slip that he was with her.
Later, In front of Alya, Daisy purposely tells Ryan that she’s not happy about his lies when the truth is he ended up in her bed, leaving Alya dumbstruck.
A heartbroken Alya tells Ryan they’re finished and she later confronts Daisy in the cafe.
Jenny Connor finds Ryan in Victoria Garden with his bag packed and offers him a bed at the Rovers.
Daisy’s thrilled to discover Ryan’s come to stay and when Jenny accuses her of deliberately trying to break up Ryan and Alya, Daisy turns on the tears.
Having been summoned by Alya, a hopeful Ryan heads to No.6. Will she give him another chance?
Later in the week, Ryan reveals that he’s landed a DJ gig in Val d’Isere and Daisy is quick to suggest she could go with him.
Unhappy fans of the ITV soap have taken to their keyboards in recent weeks to discuss the potential romance between Ryan and Daisy.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Ryan and Daisy should not happen in a million years. Please don’t let it happen and let him be happy with Alya.”
