There was hardly a dry eye remaining after This Morning ‘s Spin to Win contestant asked Philip Schofield if she could donate £1000 of her winnings to chairty.
The caller from Newcastle had successfully bagged herself £2000 on the show.
After she’d correctly answered the goody bag question, she asked Holly Willoughby, 40, and Phil, 51, for “a favour?”
Both hosts responded at the same time: “Yes.”
The lady said: “Can I ask for £500 of the erm money to be given to Parkinson’s UK and also £500 to be given to Lewy Body Dementia society please?”
Phil said: “And why is that? Why did you pick those?”
She responded: “Because of my parents.”
“Are they ok?” asked Phil.
“No, they’re not no but it’s just to honour them,” the lady replied.
“Alright, well what we’re going to do, you’ve got your £2000 from there and we’re going to give you an extra £1000 to give to your charities.
