Liam Reardon, 21, is one of the newest boys to enter the Love Island villa, and he’s got some impressive tattoos.
The bricklayer has caught the eye of a few of the girls thanks to being six foot six, and they’re loving his accent and his ink.
The Merthyr lad has got plans for a new addition to his tattoo collection, and it’s of none other than the sex bomb himself, Tom Jones.
Yes, despite being one of the youngest contestants in the show, it seems Liam is a fan of the original Welsh superstar.
Viewers at home are raving about his impressive thigh artwork that he flashed on the show on Friday night, as he rolled his shorts up in the bedroom.
He gave viewers an eyeful of a stunning black and grey realistic portrait of boxer Muhammad Ali.
The other lads were impressed, and tattoo artist Lucy Turner of Lucy Lou’s Tattoos, @lucyturnertattoos, says it’s just the start for Liam.
Lucy says: “He wants to have a full leg of portraits of celebrities he considers icons.”
Fellow Welsh love god Tom Jones is one of his next choices.
She explained: “We have spoke about doing Tom Jones and maybe Aretha Franklin too.”
“He’s said that his love for older musicians comes from his father. “
As to why he picked the boxing legend, she explained: “Liam is a big fan of Muhammad Ali and boxing in general.
“He thought he’d be the perfect start to his leg piece.”
Liam bragged to the other guys in the villa that the piece took nearly 12 hours.
Lucy confirmed it did take a long time as it’s such a detailed piece.
She revealed: “It took two full day sessions which are 6 hours each.”
“It was his first tattoo and he sat amazing both times. I convinced him to go quite big with the tattoo just because he’s so tall,” explained Lucy.
“Anything smaller just wouldn’t have looked right.”
Such a big piece doesn’t come cheap, and it’s said to have cost him around £840.
After this impressive boxing thigh piece, it wasn’t long before Liam wanted more ink adding to his collection.
Lucy says: “I have done a Frank Sinatra portrait on the front of his thigh which eventually will have the Manhattan bridge inside the hat.”
As for how it feels seeing her artwork on the TV, Lucy couldn’t be happier.
“It’s amazing. It’s really nice to hear the nice comments from the other islanders too, it’s really flattering.”
It was good news for Liam on Friday night after stunning Faye picked him for the bombshell recoupling.
Love Island airs weekdays and Sundays at 9pm on ITV.
