EastEnders fans found themselves distracted by a rather bizarre prop on Wednesday evening during one X-rated scene between Rainie and Stuart.
The pair were getting hot and heavy in the living room when Vi walked in and interrupted them, clutching a DVD.
“Prepare to be carried off into the arms of ecstasy,” Stuart told Rainie, only to be interrupted by Vi, who quipped: “The arms of the underworld, more like!”
She seemed to sense that she had stalled the couple’s “sexy time”, as she added: “I’m not interrupting anything, am I?”
Vi explained that she had borrowed a DVD from a friend for some “blood and gore” for the family to enjoy that evening, after her friend had taken “one of her turns”.
“Callum would be terrified, but we were in our element!” Vi chuckled, and they later settled down to watch the movie – much to Rainie’s disappointment.
She’d been angling for some alone time with her hubby after already cracking the non-alcoholic champers.
But fans were quick to point out that the film she clutched – entitled ‘Death Mail’ – didn’t actually exist.
Taking to Twitter, one posted: “Death Mail is not a real film. What? Did someone from the production team get their child doing media studies in school to design that? #EastEnders.”
Someone else was clearly having a giggle over the whole thing, as they penned: “Vi watching horror films is brilliant!”
“Stu and Rainie about to get it on… then Vi walks in!!” someone else laughed, as a fourth social media user wrote: “Omg Vi walking in on Rainie and Stuart, awkward!”
It came as Rainie underwent a sexy transformation, leaving fans thrilled.
Rainie oozed sex appeal as she posed against the wall in a lacy black one-piece lingerie set, turning the lights down and filling the room with candles.
Stuart was exhausted from work when he came in, but soon got in the mood, shucking off his shirt and preparing for “sexy time.”
