Funnyman Johnny Vegas ‘blew up’ kitchen with two tins of milk

Johnny Vegas’ bid to show his cooking skills bombed when he “blew up” his kitchen.

The funnyman made an explosive blunder while trying to heat milk.

The blunder resulted in him destroying his kitchen.

In May last year during the first lockdown, the comedian took to Twitter to share a video showing his ‘destroyed’ kitchen.

Replying to a tweet by Sunday Brunch which said: “What’s the best room in your house? And why?”

The actor and comedian with over 400,000 twitter followers replied with a video and wrote: “Well it was the kitchen until…”

In the video accompanying the tweet, you can hear roars of laughter as the camera pans around his kitchen.

Despite his past cooking mishaps, former Benidorm star Johnny has signed up for a brand spanking new cooking show, which is due to start this week.

Johnny, 50, said: “I blew up my oven in lockdown.

“I tried to make my own dulce de leche (caramelised milk).

“I put two tins of condensed milk on a slow simmer for eight hours – but I left them on for 16 hours. And they went off like hand grenades!
