Eamonn Holmes shared a throwback snap of himself from the seventies on Wednesday’s This Morning, and he looks unrecognisable.
The 61-year-old host was talking to a guest who has transformed his house into a shrine to the 1970s, and Eamonn and Ruth Langsford were talking about their favourite things from the decade.
Eamonn flashed up a pic from the archives of him, looking youthful and stylishly dressed.
The presenter looks sharp as he poses with a car, as he wears suit trousers, waistcoat and shirt and tie for the retro snap.
He has thick, dark hair, and stand with one hand on the bonnet of the Fiat 124 car.
Ruth and Eamonn where then bickering over the colour of a viewer’s car that Eamonn complimented the colour, and Ruth disagreed and said it was an ugly mustard.
Viewers have been sending in their seventies snaps and memories of the time.
“I have to say it’s my favourite decade. I always think the 70s gets a bad rap you know,” insists Eamonn.
“People talk about a three day week, strikes and they talk about cars that didn’t work but I loved it.”
As the picture came up on screen he explained: “There’s me! It’s not the best… the producer asked me for a picture of me in the 70s.”
“That would have been about 1979, that was my first car. I’ve got long hair, yes, but it doesn’t really reflect the kipper ties and the wide lapels and things.”
“Nothing changes!” he exclaimed.
Ruth talked about her memories too, and loved Charlie’s Angels: “I used to sleep in foam rollers to try and get my hair like Farrah Fawcett.”
“I used to sleep propped up with these foam rollers in like that to try and look like her.”
She said she admired what strong women they were
The studio was also kitted out with seventies inspired cushions, too.

It comes after Ruth slammed Eamonn’s first choice name for their son during Tuesday’s show.
The Irish broadcaster told viewers that he wanted to call their son Jack, now 19, Alex after Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson.
However, Ruth wasn’t having any of it and branded his name of choice “pathetic” at the time.
This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10am
