Emotions are most certainly running high in the Dales this week, as Emmerdale Spoilers reveal that Leanna Cavanagh’s funeral will be the cause of heated clashes.
Liam Cavanagh is not best pleased with his wife Leyla and refuses to engage with her and Jacob Gallagher over his daughter Leanna’s funeral arrangements.
In anger and frustration, Liam berates Leyla for her and Jacob’s overblown ideas and tells her that he will arrange the funeral by himself going forward.
But Liam doesn’t stop there, as he also tells his wife that she let him down when he needed her most. Liam’s frank admission leaves her reeling and angered by his unexpected outburst.
Will Liam’s anger cause serious problems in his new marriage with Leyla?
The next day, Liam has a meeting with vicar Charles Anderson and lets him know that he wants a traditional, dignified and respectful funeral for Leanna.
But Liam’s frustrations consume him again when a defiant Jacob arrives and joins the meeting.
Liam does his best to ignore Jacob and continue the meeting regardless, but an angered Jacob is determined to get his points across in the meeting, and things soon reach boiling point.
Triggered by Liam, Jacob rages that he knew Leanna better than Liam did. Feeling furious, Liam ends up storming out.
Later on, Jacob pleads with Liam to think thoroughly about the funeral while pointing out that the funeral should reflect all that was unique and amazing about Leanna’s personality.
But how will Liam respond to Jacob’s suggestions?
Leanna was murdered in cold blood earlier this month when Meena Jutla threw her entire body off a bridge. So far, Meena has done a pretty good job at hiding her tracks.
The wicked murderer even convinced Liam to throw away Leanna’s belongings.
However, she worries she’s been caught out in upcoming scenes of the ITV soap.
During Leanna’s service, Meena covertly fiddles with Leanna’s ring on her necklace.
She panics when the ring falls from the chain, watching in horror as it rolls and stops near Liam’s shoe. Quietly stricken, Meena fears discovery.
Will Liam find Leanna’s ring and expose evil Meena?
