It’s the twist we have all been waiting for.
Casa Amor launches this Sunday for a Love Island shakeup and the star of that particular show is set to be buff American footballer Medhy Malanda, the Mirror Online reported.
The couples’ loyalty to each other will face the ultimate test on the show when the beefy sportsman swoops in to try and turn some heads.
The boys and girls will be separated with a cast of sexy new singles thrown into the mix to see if anyone can be tempted.
Newcomer Medhy’s Instagram feed shows him posing topless, with a football and also wearing designer threads.
Medhy is believed to have been quarantining ahead of his Love Island debut so has not posted on social media since the beginning of the month.
It appears the hunk has taken part in some paid partnerships already and he also loves showing off his athletic prowess.
His profile says that he splits his time between London and Brussels and claims his profession as “athlete”.
Right now, Medhy only has 5,000 Instagram followers but that is sure to change quickly if he hits our screens.
His bio states: “Psalm 23:4”, which reads: “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
Love Island bosses teased the return of Casa Amor at the end of Friday’s episode, just mere moments after Jake Cornish asked Liberty Poole to be his girlfriend.
The duo have made things official, so it looks like they could be safe, but as for the other islanders, there’s no telling what could happen.
It was teased that one final dumping will take place before the islanders head over to Casa Amor as viewers were asked to vote for their favourite couple.
In preparation for Sunday night’s episode, Iain Stirling told viewers to jump on and vote for their favourite couple and those with the least amount of votes could be dumped form the island.
Not only that, but it seems in the same breath some of the islanders will be sent off to Casa Amor.
The separate villa is famously drama central as couples are put to the test as they scramble to figure out if they’re happy with who they’re with, or if their head will be turned.
There are some strong couples in the villa as it stands, including Jake and Liberty, Millie and Liam and Faye and Teddy – although it does look like Kaz and Tyler are very happy getting to know one another, it remains early days.
In the past, Casa Amor has seen some dramatic re-couplings, with some seemingly strong relationships breaking down at the ultimate test.
