Real Housewives star Kyle Richards rushed to hospital after walking into beehive

Kyle Richards, the 52-year-old actress and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, was rushed to hospital after walking into a hive of bees at her Beverly Hills mansion.

The mother-of-four, and auntie to Paris and Nicky Hilton, shared a picture to Instagram on Sunday of herself in hospital attached to an oxygen machine.

Kyle admitted she was rushed to hospital after her EpiPen failed.

The star had an allergic reaction to the bee stings and also suffered a panic attack out of fear the bees were still in her hair.

She wrote on her Instagram story: “So this happened yesterday… I walked into a hive of bees and was stung multiple times.

“If you know me at all you know I am allergic to bees and terrified of them.”

Kyle wrote: “I can laugh at this video now but what you can’t see is that they were in my hair and were literally chasing me.

“My family wasn’t home and for whatever reason, the people that work for me couldn’t hear me screaming for help.

“My landline wouldn’t dial 911 and my EpiPen was defective and wouldn’t open.”

The video showed Kyle running through the garden of her Beverly Hills mansion in a navy blue tracksuit.

As she re-watched the video she said, “I was screaming ‘Help me! Help me! Oh my God!'”

She said every time she came up for air in the pool she could feel the bees around her.

Although Kyle suffered a traumatic ordeal, she learned to make fun of herself and laughed at her reaction.

Kyle even uploaded a clip of RHOBH co-star, Lisa Rinna, jumping up from a table screaming “Is that a bee?” mocking Kyle.

On a more serious note, Kyle said she shared her story to prevent people from not taking their EpiPen with them and knowing how to use it when they do.

Uploading a selfie of her in hospital, Kyle wrote: “It’s important to look on YouTube and watch the videos of how to use it. There are different types of EpiPens and they each work differently.”

She also thanked her local fire department for coming to her rescue and checking up on her the following day.
