Tom Cruise has decided to fully embrace life in the UK, by taking up a rather unexpected sport.
The Mission Impossible star has been playing darts in an attempt to fully embrace life in Britain.
The Hollywood actor is living temporarily in Biggin Hill in Kent to complete filming for the seventh Mission Impossible flick, and has already made headlines for turning up in the unlikeliest of places.
Within days of each other, Tom turned out to support England in the Euros 2020 final, and headed to Wimbledon to enjoy a spot of tennis.
He’s also been spotted relaxing on a £32million super-yacht in St Ives, Cornwall.
And the next logical step seems to be taking up the Lancashire-born sport of darts, as a source told The Sun: “Tom has really loved being in Britain this time, though filming was a nightmare.
“A dart board was probably the next natural step as he turns himself into an honorary Englishman.
“He knows darts are a staple of English pubs and he fancied a go.”
Last week, Tom was spotted on the Triple Seven yacht and according to Cornwall Live, was quickly ‘whisked away’ in a Mercedes driven by a chauffeur after disembarking.
During his trip, the yacht’s crew could be seen running various errands, ferrying a large bag of baked goods to the ship.
It comes after Tom launched into a furious rant at members of the Mission Impossible crew last December, as he reminded them they should be respecting social distancing guidelines.
According to The Sun, the star could be heard in the audio: “If I see you do it again, you’re f***ing gone.
“And if anyone in this crew does it, that’s it – and you too, and you too. And you, don’t you ever f***ing do it again.”
He allegedly continued: “They’re back there in Hollywood making movies right now because of us. We are creating thousands of jobs, you motherf***ers.
“That’s it. No apologies. You can tell it to the people that are losing their f***ing homes because our industry is shut down.
“We are not shutting this f***ing movie down. Is it understood? If I see it again, you’re f***ing gone.”
And that wasn’t the only rant Tom let rip during filming, as in April this year he was furious when windy weather ground filming to a halt.
A source told The Sun: “The branches hanging over were knocking on the roof of the trailer which Tom and some of the other cast had been using.”
They continued: “Apparently the noise was becoming irritating and they couldn’t stand it any longer.”
But, the insider added, Tom is the “definition of professional” on-set, and simply wanted filming to go smoothly.
