The contestant’s in the main villa best prepare themselves for what lies ahead, as Tuesday’s preview of Love Island showed the return of the infamous Casa Amor postcard.
The postcard which highlights the details of the sordid affairs that takes place at Casa Amor, usually causes quite a stir when the female islanders receive the photographic evidence in the main villa.
And from the looks of what the lads have been getting up to this week, the card will most definitely set the cat amongst the pigeons.
In previous series, the postcard caused an increased amount of tension amongst islanders, so much so, it was scrapped in a bid to take care of contestant’s welfare and mental wellbeing.
Due to the controversy that the mysterious card has caused in the past, Daily Star has taken a look back at the most controversial shocking Casa Amor postcard moments.
Dani Dyer breaks down over Jack Fincham

In 2018, ITV producers decided to spice things up and send the girls in the main villa a video version of the Casa Amor postcard. But following the reaction from contestant Dani Dyer, this may have been their worst decision to date.
Dani was partnered with Jack Fincham at the time and their relationship was going from strength to strength.
The loved up couple, who went on to win the show later on hit a bump in the road when Jack was placed in the Casa Amor villa with his ex-girlfriend.
After watching the clip of Jack on her phone, Dani was convinced that he had cheated and was left incredibly distraught and inconsolable.

Expressing her feelings to the nation, Dani cried profusely in the beach hut while shouting “this always happens to me!”
But unbeknownst to Dani, Jack was totally innocent.
Following Dani’s reaction, Love Island was accused of emotional manipulation and received an astonishing 2,500 Ofcom complaints as a result.
Once the series had finished, Dani spoke about the incident and agreed that the producers had to do it for ratings.
Talking to The Sun, Dani said: “Oh listen, they’ve got to make a TV show. If I weren’t crying the viewers would drop.”
Marcel Somerville leaves Gabby Allen shattered

Marcel Somerville and Gabby Allen warmed the nation’s hearts with their blossoming romance in 2017 and fans were convinced that they were the real deal.
But, that was until the postcard arrived back at the main villa which showed Marcel getting up to no good.
Marcel ended up getting rather close to blonde bombshell Shannen McGrath and shared a passionate kiss with her during a challenge.

Realising his mishap at the time, Marcel later expressed that he was taking “one for the team”.
But this didn’t stop Gabby’s heartbreak when she saw her man laying in bed with another woman on the postcard.
Gabby was left in despair and ran away crying once she saw the evidence.
Kem Cetinay kisses Chyna Ellis

In 2017, Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies were long-term partners but their relationship was strained.
Before Kem was whisked away to Casa Amor, several conversations were had with Amber regarding their partnership and whether it will last the long run.
But when Kem went to the Casa Amor villa, he sparked a connection with Chyna Ellis and shared a passionate kiss with her.

Kem’s kiss was also posted on the postcard and although Amber was upset she was still unsure whether he would come home single or with his new babe.
Talking openly in the beach hut while crying, Amber said: “My whole experience in here has been me and Kem and I feel like he has really messed with my head the entire time and had me like a yo yo.
“I’m so disappointed in myself for not figuring it out sooner.”
But Amber’s ordeal didn’t stop there as Kem did walk into the villa with Chyna, forcing Amber to quickly partner with someone else.
Chris Hughes in bed with a bombshell

Fiery couple Chris Hughes and Oliva Attwood had a very hot and steamy relationship throughout series 3 of Love Island.
Though they were known for the heated rows, Chris and Olivia entertained the nation with their turbulent yet lovable partnership.
But when Chris was caught sleeping in bed with a bombshell on the postcard, Olivia was left questioning their pairing.
Certain that Chris had cheated on her in Casa Amor, Olivia said: “If I hadn’t see that postcard, I would have picked Chris all day long.
“I just have to go with what my gut is telling me but now I’ve seen photographic evidence of him in bed with another girl.”
