Coronation Street star Millie Gibson looks completely unrecognisable from her character Kelly Neelan in glam snaps shared to Instagram.
The sun-kissed star was practically glowing as she sat framed by the summer sun for a glam photoshoot, with her blonde hair falling in waves over her shoulders.
Millie opted for a natural makeup look which showed off her freckles for the sun-soaked snap, pairing a white tank top with two gold necklaces, one with an M for her initial secured around her neck.
And the 17-year-old’s iconic eyebrow scar was just visible underneath her blonde curls.
In another pic, Millie held her sleek waves up in a makeshift ponytail as she posed for the camera.
She simply captioned the snaps: “M”.
Millie’s fans and co-stars were quick to comment their love for the actress, with Tanisha Gorey, who plays Asha Alahan in the soap, writing: “Ok queen.”
Elle Mulvaney, who plays Amy Barlow, simply penned: “Fire.”
And Jack Ryan, who plays drug carrier Jacob Hay on the cobbles, posted: “Doing the MOST, yeah we love to see it tbh.”
Plenty of other fans leapt into the comments section to show Millie some love, with one gushing: “You’re beautiful!”
Millie has played Kelly on Corrie since 2019, and is currently embroiled in a tense storyline after the brutal murder of Seb Franklin in a vicious hate crime attack which left his girlfriend Nina Lucas suffering horrific injuries.
Kelly was arrested and subsequently held in a juvenile detention facility for the crime – while perpetrator Corey Brent walked free.
And now the abuse Kelly suffered at the hands of her mother Laura has come to light, with the troubled teen reporting her to social services and undergoing a tense interview as she admitted it was actually her mum who had given her the eyebrow scar.
“She gave me this scar,” Kelly explained to the officer, with foster dad Imran at her side. “That was the day she had a fat rock on her finger.”
Millie explained how she got the scar in real life, which was the result of a childhood accident.
Though some fans were certain she’d shaved it to give Kelly an edge, Millie explained: “It is a scar and my dad always gets very frustrated about comments like that because people go ‘she’s put it on herself’ and my dad’s like, ‘no, she’s not!’
“When I was younger – I was about two or three – there’s one of my pictures where I look like a right thug!
“I was running through this barn and I whacked my head on the corner of the banister and apparently my head was massive and it’s never really healed by I kind of like it! It definitely works for the character!” she added.
