Prince Harry's brutal swipe at Meghan for 'wanting to be a princess' in HBO show

Meghan Markle has become the target of yet another savage joke in the brutal new royal family cartoon, The Prince.

The show, created by Family Guy writer Gary Janetti, follows the adventures of the royal family through the eyes of the young Prince George – the 8-year-old son of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

However, royal fans have been fuming over the new HBO series – with some insisting that “children are off-limits” for mockery, and others calling it ‘disgusting’.

Now, Meghan has found herself the target of the show’s brutal jokes yet again – and it’s a cartoon version of her husband Harry that delivers the killer punch line during a chat about her desires to be a princess.

It comes just after a recent episode of the series made fun of her ‘feud’ with Kate by depicting the pair bickering over Facetime – following a source which claimed Meghan and Kate ‘have been texting’ since the birth of Meghan and Harry’s daughter Lilibet.

In the third episode, Harry and his beau Meghan (played by Condola Rashad) can be seen rehearsing lines and talking about jobs – with Meghan complaining about her acting career following her fame on legal drama, Suits.

A frustrated Meghan huffs before she says: “This sucks. On Suits I was a series regular. Attorney at law!” before Harry corrects here, saying: “Wasn’t she a paralegal the first six seasons?”

Meghan then replies: “I don’t know,” before the conversation turns to their childhood dreams, with Harry admitting he wanted to be a massage therapist.

When Meghan questions her husband’s surprising dream, Harry says: “You never had a dream when you were a child to be something everything else said was impossible, like an astronaut or prime minister, or masseur?”

Meghan then answers dreamily: “Ah… I wanted to be a princess.”

But Harry then tells her: “Oh, well you kind of f*cked that up,”, leaving his wife Meghan fuming.

Earlier this year, Harry and Meghan officially stepped down as senior royals after deciding to split from the family – which became known as ‘Megxit’ – with them moving from London to Los Angeles where they currently reside.

The Duke and Duchess took to Instagram to make the huge announcement, where they explained that they’d be “stepping back as ‘senior’ members ” of the royal family, and that they’d become financially independent and split their time between the UK and America.

The series also addressed Meghan’s reported rift with Kate after a source revealed the pair had been messaging one another since the birth of Lilibet.

The Duchess of Cambridge told reporters that she “couldn’t wait to meet her” after the birth was announced on June 4.

An insider told US Weekly: “Tensions have eased between Meghan and Kate.

“Kate even sent Meghan a gift for the baby. They’re in a better place and have exchanged texts since the birth of Lilbet.”

Their relationship had allegedly become strained after Meghan’s bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview which aired in March.

The controversial animated series, which premiered on July 29, features a star-studded cast including Orlando Bloom as Prince Harry, Dan Stevens as Prince Charles and Prince Phillip and Sophie Turner as Princess Charlotte.
