Katie Price wants to compete in 2024 Olympics as she sets sights on equestrian gold medal

Katie Price has set herself some exceptionally high goals as she admits that she wants to compete in the next Olympics in 2024.

The 43-year-old has always been an avid horse lover, but it seems she’s finally ready to push herself even further after years of saying she wanted to take part.

After watching Oliver Townend, Laura Collett and Tom McEwen compete in the dressage, cross country and show jumping competitions for the Olympics, Katie has been left feeling inspired.

As she congratulated the team on their win, she said in her Instagram story: “This is amazing, first time in 50 years… I so want to compete in the next Olympics in the equestrian.”

It’s not the first time that Katie has mentioned her Olympic dreams, after first saying she hoped to take part in 2008, but just last year she mentioned again how she hoped for a gold medal.

She said at the time: “I have positive plans for the future. I still hope to get that Olympic gold. I’m setting the bar high as always. See it, dream it and it will happen.”

Last year it was revealed that Katie had broken both of her feet while on holiday in Turkey, but despite a challenging time that followed, she has certainly seen the positives.

In a clip she posted on Instagram, she was seen riding her horses as she captioned the snap: “I feel so lucky that I can’t run ever again but I can still rise my horses which is my passion and so good for me mentally.”

Katie has always shown her fondness for horses and it looks like her daughter Princess is following in her footsteps.

Earlier this year Katie filmed Princess trotting away with one of Katie’s horses as the former glamour model gushed over her daughter’s talent.

For the most part, Katie has enjoyed horse riding as a hobby and even owns her own horses as she has an avid passion for the animals.

However, it looks like Katie is finally getting ready to take the next step and turn her passion into a career as she hops back on the saddle – but could it get her though to the Olympics?
