Holly Willoughby sent a sweet message to Ant McPartlin and Ann-Marie who tied the knot today after failing to attend their wedding.
TV presenter Ant wed his personal assistant Anne-Marie Corbett this weekend in Hampshire’s St Michael’s Church.
A long list of celebs were invited to enjoy the big day with the Saturday Night Takeaway star, but Holly was nowhere to be seen, despite her co-star Philip Schofield from This morning attending.
The bride, 43, looked sensational in her £15,000 dress, designed by Suzanne Neville, which featured lace detailing.
Ant, 45, looking dapper, was ecstatic after the service and was beaming ear to ear when he exited the church as a newly married man.
Ant shared a photo on the Ant and Dec Instagram of him pumping the air with his fist as he stands next to his new bride.
He captioned the post: “Mr and Mrs McPartlin” with a red love heart emoji.
The post, which has been liked more than 625,000 times, saw celebs and followers alike rush to wish the pair congratulations.
Even though Holly didn’t seem to appear for the big day, she posted a photo of herself in a plunging black dress, oozing glamour.
The 40-year-old presenter promoted her new BBC show Take Off while wearing a tasseled and embroidered dress with classic sandal heels.
She uploaded the picture onto Instagram and captioned the social media photo: ‘#takeoff 6:05pm… dress by @davidkomalondo shoes by @ginashoesofficial.’
Holly, who was invited to Ant’s wedding, was unable to attend and instead sent her fellow ITV star a sweet message on one of their wedding snaps.
She wrote: “Congratulations” and sent him four love hearts.
Other celebrities who congratulated the couple include Emily Atack, who said “Ahhhhhhh congratulations!” and Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt.
More than 8,000 comments are sending the bride and groom well-wishes.
Anne-Marie wore a long veil that flowed down the back of her floor-length gown and pinned her blond tresses back in a chic updo.
She opted for glowing and glamorous makeup and carried a beautiful bouquet of white and purple roses, as well as a pendant representing her loved ones.
Best man Declan Donnelly, 45, wore a matching black suit to his partner in crime with a lilac flower corsage.
Famous faces who attended the ceremony include Stephen Mulhern, Christine and Frank Lampard, Alesha Dixon, Dermot O’Leary, and David Walliams.
