Paul Walker’s daughter Meadow engaged seven years after Hollywood star’s tragic death

Meadow Walker, daughter of Fast and Furious star Paul Walker, has announced her engagement.

The 22-year-old showed off her diamond engagement ring on social media as she revealed that she is set to tie the knot with her actor boyfriend Louis Thornton-Allan.

In a sweet clip posted to Instagram, Meadow could be seen relaxing in an aqua blue pool in what looks to be a desert, holding her hand up to her face with the engagement ring glittering on her ring finger.

She then flops backwards and swims away, after having a giggle at the camera.

The star wore a plunging white one-piece for the adorable clip, which she simply captioned with three love heart emojis.

Her fans were quick to comment on the amazing news, with one writing in the comments section: “Dying!! Congratulations!!”

“Omg love you, this is so sweet!” another posted, as a third followed up: “Congratulations my love!”

And Meadow’s new fiancé Louis sweetly posted: “Forever and always”, while sharing the post to his own Instagram story.

The news comes seven years after Meadow’s famous dad Paul was tragically killed in a car accident.

Paul was a passenger in a red Porsche Carrera GT, driven by his friend Roger Radas, who lost control of the vehicle at 100mph before it smashed into a tree and burst into flames.

The pair died instantly.

Meadow was Paul’s only child, and it isn’t clear exactly how long she and Louis have been together.

Early in July, he posted a sweet snap of the couple snuggled together, as Louis chilled with a drink in his hand and Meadow peered into his eyes.

They both looked super comfortable in the snap, with Meadow relaxing in a white vest top and tracksuit pants, and Louis rocking a graphic t-shirt, khaki cargo pants and a baseball cap.

He simply captioned the snap: “Best friend”, with a purple love heart emoji.

Meadow replied: “My love,” with a matching emoji.

Meadow has been busy continuing her father’s legacy since his death, along with going along her own Hollywood path.

She is a key part of the Paul Walker Foundation, which helps to support marine science – and recently teased an appearance in the Fast and Furious franchise, to follow in her dad’s footsteps.

Speaking to E! about Fast 10, Meadow said: “I would not count anything out. Let me just – without giving you all of the secrets of Fast 10 – let’s just say nothing’s ruled out.”
