Coronation Street star Ruxandra Porojnicu has blasted thieves who she alleges stole items from her flat block.
Posting to her Instagram stories on Wednesday, the Alina Pop actress shared a picture of a houseplant alongside several angry captions expressing her annoyance at having her parcels stolen from inside the residence.
Ruxandra wrote to her almost 57,000 followers: “When you live in a block of flats where people are stealing parcels… why?!
“I hope those clothes are tight as f*** for whoever got them xx.”
Appearing to be quite angry with the thieves, she added: “Also, I’ll change my name on the delivery to Connor McGregor.”
Ruxandra, 28, is believed to be living in Manchester, where Coronation Street films.
The actress joined the ITV soap in 2019 as nail technician Alina, with her character currently dating Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall).
Over recent months, Alina has faced quite a few challenges, including a devastating miscarriage earlier this month.
The loss of her and Tyrone’s unborn child came as Alina recovered from a flat fire, which Alina believed she was responsible for starting.
However, the fire was actually started by Fiz Stape’s daughter Hope (Isabelle Flanagan), who Tyrone raised as his own.
With Alina’s life spiralling out of control and she and Tyrone handling their grief in different ways, it looks like the pair could be heading for a break-up.
It has been teased that in forthcoming scenes, the car mechanic will grow close to his old flame Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) amid the fallout from the flat fire.
Earlier this month, Ruxandra enjoyed a dinner out on the town with her Coronation Street cast mates Alan Halsall, Jennie McAlpine and Emma Brooker actress Alexandra Mardell.
Pictures from the gathering were shared to social media, sparking rumours that Alina may be leaving Weatherfield.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV
