The British music star was a part of X Factor’s winning band Little Mix since 2011.

However, Jesy announced in December 2020 that she would be leaving the group “due to prolonged issues with her mental health”.

She reportedly admitted to feeling “the constant pressure of being in a girl group” and that “living up to expectations was very hard.”

Jesy went on to announce that she had signed a record deal with Polydor Record in May 2021, and that she would be releasing solo music later in the year.
