Mr Bean star Rowan Atkinson unrecognisable with long grey hair as he films Netflix show

Comedy legend Rowan Atkinson has stepped out with a completely different appearance while filming scenes for his brand new show.

The Mr Bean star was spotted with a long set of grey hair, a look which Rowan’s fans are definitely not used to seeing.

The 66-year-old comedian was seen filming scenes for the upcoming Netflix series, Man Vs Bee.

The official synopsis to Rowan’s new show reads: “Renowned actor and comedian Rowan Atkinson plays a new character in this riotous comedy.

“A man finds himself at war with a bee while housesitting a luxurious mansion.

“Who will win, and what irreparable damage will be done in the process?”

If there is anything Britain and the rest of the world has learnt throughout the actor’s successful career, is that his comedy skills have never disappointed, and that we can expect the new series to bring a lot of laughter as a consequence.

Nevertheless, in the recently released pictures of Rowan on set, the Johnny English actor looked very different from his famous Mr Bean character.

Moreover, Rowan was seen wearing a plaid shirt tucked inside his pants, while sporting a salt and pepper-coloured wig that covered his forehead, giving him a goofy and relatable look.

The award-winning comedian was pictured on the Aylesbury set of Man Vs Bee rocking the new and unusual hairdo.

He appeared to be going hard at work as in a hilarious snap, Rowan could be seen yawning.

Despite recently making headlines for admitting to not enjoying filming Mr Bean – which he said was “stresfful and exhausting” – Rowan did hint at the possibility to revive his iconic BBC comedy Blackadder.

He told Radio Times back in January that it was “certainly not impossible” for Blackadder to return after more than 30 years and confirmed there have been talks about a new series.

He said: “That’s about as optimistic as I can be and I’d rather not speculate on when it could be set.”
