'Emotional' Malin Andersson expecting baby girl on same due date as late daughter

Former Love Island star Malin Andersson has revealed she is expecting another baby girl – admitting that it feels “really surreal”.

It comes just two years after the reality star, 28, tragically lost her baby daughter Consy at just four weeks old.

The happy mum-to-be, who is 15 weeks pregnant, shared the exciting news to her nearest and dearest at a stunning gender reveal party.

Pregnant Malin invited 80 of her closest friends and family for the happy occasion, including fellow Islander Jessica Hayes.

She shared the news in style, having a plane blowing out pink smoke fly over the garden of her home in Cambridgeshire.

Malin opened up about her pregnancy and the moment she found out she was expecting her little one – saying she had a “gut feeling” it was a girl.

She told Ok!: “From the get-go I knew it was a girl, I had this gut feeling. So I was super happy. It just made sense to me.”

Malin, who is expecting the baby with her boyfriend Jared, went on: “[It’s] really surreal. When the plane was circling around the sky, it took ages to show the coloured smoke.

“Even though I knew what the gender was, because I went to the scan myself, when I saw the smoke it brought up loads of emotions.”

Malin added that the party left her feeling “really emotional”.

It follows an incredibly difficult journey for the reality star, as her beloved mother passed away following a tragic cancer battle in 2017.

Just 15 months later, Malin lost her first baby daughter, named Consy after her mum, just a month after she arrived into the world seven weeks early.

Malin went through a miscarriage and suffered domestic abuse from her ex, Tom Kemp.

On discovering her baby’s gender, Malin said that it made her feel “really emotional”, that it was like a little miracle and a blessing.

She explained that she is nervous about the pregnancy and is feeling “protective” due to her past experiences.

Malin commented that her partner Jared has been “amazing”, but that he prefers to keep out of the spotlight.
