EastEnders star and Ruby Allen actress Louisa Lytton and her fiancé Ben Bhanvra have been together since 2017.
The 32-year-old actress met the businessman through a mutual friend and according to Louisa: “We just clicked from the off and I just knew.”
Their romance progressed quickly, with Ben moving into Louisa’s flat just four months after meeting.
In January the couple revealed they had moved into a three-story home together in North London.
Then Ben took Louisa to the Maldives in 2019, as a special 30th birthday present, and while there got down on one knee and proposed.
Speaking to OK!, Ben said: “I took Louisa to a quiet part of the island where I knew no one else would be around.
“I told her I wanted to fly my drone to get some aerial pictures of the island, although really I wanted it to capture a video of the moment I proposed.”
“As soon as I got it up in the air and reached to get the ring from the bag a cleaner walked past and was so mesmerised by the drone he was just stood next to us staring at it for ages.
“I had to wait for him to leave. The cleaner finally disappeared so I got a speaker out of my bag that I was going to use to play a song for when I proposed but the Wi-Fi signal was bad so I couldn’t get it to play.
“By this point I was so frustrated that I just grabbed the ring and got down on one knee!”
Speaking about the romantic proposal, Louisa admitted she burst into tears, telling OK! : “When I saw him on one knee I started crying like a baby.
“I was so excited but my brain went into overdrive and I started freaking out. I had no idea he was going to propose.”
The couple’s first wedding date had to be cancelled after the global pandemic.
They rebooked for July in York where Ben is from, with Louisa saying in January: “We’ve said that if we can’t have the exact wedding we want, with all our guests, we’ll postpone it again.
“Otherwise, to me that’s not a wedding – it’s not the wedding I would want.”
The couple share a cockapoo named Riley who Louisa said was “good practice” for Ben to prepare him for parenthood.
They got their wish this year when on March 14 Louisa shared that the couple were expecting their first child together with a video to Instagram.

“I told James and Lacey. I had to tell them. You almost see them more than you see your own partner!”, she shared to OK!.
“I also told them to explain the constant going to the toilet, the constant eating and there were a few times I had to run off set. I started showing really early. They’ve been amazing ever since they found out and were so excited.

Ben and Louisa cancelled their wedding to in order to focus on the baby, with Louisa revealing: “We’ve cancelled the wedding altogether now. We’ve decided to scrap the whole thing and start again with our plans.
“We’re going to have the baby and focus on that and then get married once we’re ready.
“We’d already postponed it twice and the wedding we were going to have is massive – we had nearly 200 people.”
Their baby is due in the autumn and will get a special role in their big day.
Speaking to OK!, Louisa said: “I’m sure that we’ll have the baby as flower girl or page boy. I’m not sure if they’ll be obviously walking by then and be able to walk down the aisle or not but we’ll see.”
