Love Island couple to be dumped from the villa as final approaches and voting opens

Another Love Island couple will be packing their bags just days before the final, it seems as voting opens again.

A the end of Tuesday night’s episode Iain Stirling conformed voting was open for the viewers to decide who their favourite couples are.

This means that another pair of unlucky Islanders is sure to be losing their place in the villa, right before the finale.

Iain confirmed that those with the fewest votes faced being dumped form the villa, and the results will be announced on Wednesday night.

But with the show’s fondness for cliffhangers, fans might not see who goes until Thursday’s episode.

So far the series has utilised the system of letting viewers vote for the favourite couples and letting the Islanders decide who stays out of those with the lowest number of votes.

Usually they must choose either a couple to stay, or the boys pick a girl and the girls choose one boy to send home.

Of course, producers could choose to send two couples packing.

It comes after the last dumping saw newcomers Priya and Brett sent home, after receiving the least amount of votes from the public.

However, the dumping caused huge tension to descend over the villa after the couple’s were made to decide who should be up for elimination based on who was the “least compatible” as a couple.

The vote left four couples at risk, Teddy and Faye, Aaron and Mary, Liberty and Jake, and Priya and Brett.

Faye and Teddy were quick to grill their fellow Islanders on who voted for them in the aftermath, while Mary and Aaron were also quick to investigate.

Jake and Liberty meanwhile indicated they were less concerned after suspecting they would be up for elimination due to having a rocky past week.

The revelation of who chose to nominate who led to a rift in the villa, with a number of Islanders clashing with each other in heated scenes.

This may impact any possible decisions about who the Islanders might pick to leave next.
