Louise Redknapp 'longing to meet someone new' following ex Jamie's baby news

Louise Redknapp has revealed her hopes to move on from her ex-husband Jamie following his surprise pregnancy news.

The 46-year-old former Eternals singer and football star, 48, split in 2017 after 20 years of marriage, with Louise previously taking responsibility for their separation both publically and in her autobiography ‘You’ve Got This’.

The couple share sons Beau, 12, and Charley, 16, with Jamie soon to welcome his third child with new girlfriend Frida Andersson.

Jamie and Frida made their romance Instagram official earlier this month and an insider close to Louise has since confirmed she is also now ‘longing to meet someone new’.

Revealing that Louise found the images of a pregnant Frida cuddling up to Jamie “incredibly difficult” to see, the source said the former Strictly star also felt slightly betrayed by her and Jamie’s mutual friends liking the post.

However, the insider additionally confirmed that Louise is “trying her best to stay positive and focus on her own love life.”

They told Closer: “Obviously it’s been incredibly difficult for Louise to see the pictures, especially as so many mutual friends have liked them.

“She has been coming to terms with the pregnancy, but this is the first time she’s seen them together and looking like a real family, and seeing Frida’s bump.”

The insider continued: “While of course she only wants Jamie to be happy, it’s never going to be easy watching your ex move on, let alone start a new family with someone else when you share children together, so it was a bit of a blow.

“She’s trying her best to stay positive and focus on her own love life, as she’s longing to meet someone new.”

Frida and Jamie will soon celebrate their first year anniversary of dating.

The 37-year-old model shares four children with her former husband, Jonathan Lourie.
