Michelle Keegan has posted a touching Instagram birthday tribute to her mother while looking sensational in a bikini top.
Posting to Instagram on Wednesday, the 34-year-old actress shared a heartfelt tribute to her mum Jackie Thornton in celebration of her 60th birthday.
Alongside a picture of Michelle looking stunning while standing arm-in-arm with Jackie in a black and nude bikini top, the former Coronation Street star amused fans with hilarious throwback photos to her childhood.
To her 5.1 million followers, Michelle wrote: “What a woman! My mum, my best friend & hands down THE funniest human on the planet & I know many would agree.

The post follows Michelle’s husband Mark Wright, 34, recently revealing his pride at his wife’s acting talents.
He told The Sun: “I’m extremely proud.
“I feel very lucky. The one thing I’ll say. I’m not arrogant or confident about any kind of talent because I can’t sing to save my life. I can’t act; like my wife’s a born actress and is incredible at what she does. I can’t do that.”

Despite their close bond, Michelle didn’t attend her sister-in-law Jess Wright’s hen weekend in Ibiza earlier this month.
While living it up on the party island, Jess, 35, filmed scenes for her new ITV BE reality show Jess Wright: The Wedding.
