Jesy Nelson is open to idea of same-sex relationship as she says 'I wish I loved women'

Jesy Nelson has revealed that she would consider a fling with a woman as she explains she is open to the idea of same-sex relationships and wishes she loved women.

The 30-year-old former Little Mix singer exited the hit-making girl group last December, and has recently broken up with Sean Sagar, an actor from the BBC drama Our Girl.

Opening up in a candid interview with The Guardian, she spoke about her ex-lovers and future romantic plans.

She explained how she was madly in love with her ex, and with him it was the first time she hadn’t been the one in control.

Hinting that it was tough, she said that she had never been treated in that way before and thought it was what she wanted.

When she got into an on/off relationship with Sean Sagar, she reportedly wanted to be kept on her toes and wanted to “have that chase” but since breaking up with him, she doesn’t ever want that again.

Jesy has had a few relationships with famous fellas, from dancer Jordan Banjo, Rixton singer Jake Roche, musician Harry James and Love Island hunk Chris Hughes – but now she wants to take a break from the quest for love.

“Part of me feels I should be single for ever because in relationships, you have to sacrifice so much,” she said to the publication.

She explained that she isn’t looking for a relationship anymore, as she revealed: “I wish I liked women, I really do. I said that to my sister the other day because she’s gay.”

Jesy told her sister, who is gay, that she would love to love women, but loves men too much, telling her sister that she loves men with muscles and the way men smell.

This comes as Jesy recently sent her fans wild with a sizzling snap of herself in a bikini teasing her first single as a solo artist.

The former Little Mix singer has been hard at work for months on creating her new solo album after leavingthe chart-topping girl group.

Little Mix marked their 10th anniversary as a group on August 19, by announcing new album – Between Us, which is set to be a collection of some of the girls’ greatest hits and exciting new material.

The threesome’s new album could collide with the release date of Jesy’s first single as a solo artist.
