Former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson has appeared to ignore her ex-band member Perrie Edwards on her baby news, as feud rumours continue to circulate.
Earlier today (August 22), Perrie announced to fans on Instagram that she had welcomed her first child with her footballer partner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Posting an adorable black and white pic which teased a glimpse of her new-born, Perrie captioned the photo: “Welcome to the world baby 21/08/21.”
The Sweet Melody singer was then swiftly inundated with congratulatory messages from fans and her celebrity pals.
As well as her band mates Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, the singer received an array of complimentary messages from the likes of Stacey Solomon, Giovanna Fletcher and Love Island’s Chris Hughes, to name a few.
Band member Leigh-Anne Pinnock, who is also expecting her first child, penned: “I am so proud of you and I love you so much what an angel.”
While Jade Thirlwall gushed: “Proud of you always. Ly.”
However a comment from her ex bandmate Jesy has yet to be seen under the photo and she appeared to not like Perrie’s post either.
Jesy’s apparent snub was certainly picked up by fans, with one commenting on whether she would congratulate her former group member on her baby news.
Taking to Twitter, one fan questioned: “Is Jesy going to even congratulate Perrie &and Alex on the birth of the baby?”
The news comes after Jesy admitted that she is no longer in contact with her former band mates, despite receiving their support throughout her mental health battle while in the spotlight.
In a recent interview with The Guardian, Jesy was questioned on her relationship with Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jade and whether they still communicated.
Jesy admitted: “No, not as much. Not now. I think we all need time. It’s a big thing that’s happened.”
Discussing Perrie and Leigh-Anne’s pregnancies, the singer added: “I reckon they’ll look after their babies, go off and do their own things for a while, then make a comeback together.
“I think they’re just as sick as a three. They’re still doing it for girl power. I still love them to pieces. They were like my sisters.”
Jesy parted ways from Little Mix in December 2020, after struggling with her mental health and being in a girl band.
Despite not wanting to be in a group, the singer announced that her solo career is kicking off relatively soon, with her debut single Boyz expected to be released in the next coming weeks.
