The final week of Love Island has arrived, after almost eight weeks of fire pit drama, island dumpings, questionable challenges, and ‘I’ve got a text’ announcements.
We’ve watched the islanders from the moment they entered the villa as hopeless singletons – to seven weeks later all loved up in couples.
With the winners due to be announced tonight, everything is to play for and as we know – anything can happen in the villa.
The final will be aired tonight live on ITV and we will finally get to see which couple will walk away with the £50,000 cash prize.
Throughout the eight weeks, we’ve seen the islanders be put through their paces with challenges, re-couplings, and Casa Amor truly testing their relationships.
It hasn’t been easy for the islanders with plenty of fallings out along the way, including the most recent one during the least compatible vote.
As with any drama that unfolds in the villa, it somehow has a way of working out, and things seem fairly harmonious in the lead up to this year’s final.
The final will be an extended episode, lasting an hour and a half and airing live from the Majorcan villa with Love Island host, Laura Whitmore at the helm.
How to vote for Love Island winners
The winners of the show will be picked by the viewers, the people who have been watching the islander’s every move for the past eight weeks.
Viewers can vote for their favourite couple via the ITV Love Island app- but they must register for free first.
The couple with the most votes will be declared the winners of this year’s Love Island.
The winners will be faced with one final test, choosing whether to steal or split the £50,000 cash prize with their other half.
The Love Island final will be available to watch Monday, August 24 at 9 pm on ITV2 or ITV hub.
