Holly Willoughby has finally revealed the cover of her book to her followers on Thursday.
The 40-year-old has written her first book, Reflections, which is said to address everything from body image to burn out, and is expected to discuss reclaiming readers’ sexuality and treating themselves more kindly.
The This Morning host took to her Instagram to share a snap of the book cover, showing her in an elegant white jumper as she rests her chin on her hands.
The mum-of-three gazes seriously at the camera, as her blonde locks cascade to her shoulders.
The book’s title is emblazoned on top of the image, with the strapline – “Life lessons on finding beauty – inside and out,” written below it.
Holly previously shared a provisional cover when she announced the book earlier this month.
Captioning the photo, she wrote: “The book is called Reflections and is essentially thoughts and musings from me on inner and outer beauty.
“We live in a world where so much is about how we present ourselves on the outside and there is fun to be had here but true beauty comes from within… there is an alignment that needs to happen and finding that balance hasn’t always felt so easy.”
The book will include both photos of Holly and illustrations.
Speaking about the project when it was first announced, Holly said: “I’m so excited to publish this book with Zennor and the team at Century. Reflections is a celebration of how inner and outer beauty can work together in perfect harmony, which hasn’t always come easily to me.
“I hope this starts a discussion and helps readers reflect on their own paths and on where they find themselves now.”
She described the process of writing the book as “intense” and said that it would be immensely personal, adding there are “pieces of her between the pages”.
“Writing this book has been an intense experience; there are pieces of me between the pages. It’s a one-off collection of personal essays, internal thoughts and stories,” said Holly.
“The time felt right to share this with you now and as our path goes on and we continue to walk along it, I can’t wait to hold your hand and walk together.”
Holly added that she used her own experiences to look at “why we might simultaneously feel frantically busy and completely detached, the importance of listening to intuition and what it means to see yourself”.
The book will also reportedly set out to explore “what it means to live a beautiful life in the modern world”.
Reflections will be published on 29th October 2021.
