GMB's Pip Tomson left 'screaming' as cardboard cut-out leaves her terrified

It wasn’t quite the wake-up call Pip Tomson was after as she took over hosting duties this morning and sat on the desk from 6am before Charlotte Hawkins and Sean Fletcher became the main presenters on Good Morning Britain at 6:30am.

Looking glam as ever, Pip donned a stunning denim button-down one-piece and a glowing makeup look finished with a swipe of gloss as her hair bounced with curls.

She stunned after spending the morning getting ready in her dressing room, but it might not have been worth it as she was left with quite the scare this morning before she stepped foot onto the ITV show.

As she welcomed weather girl Laura Tobin onto the screen to give an update on the cloudy skies this Bank Holiday Monday, she gave her a bit of a telling off.

She said: “Laura I must just tell you, there is a big cardboard cut out of you in your dressing room that I’m in this morning and it’s given me the shock of my life.

“Every time I go in there I’ve screamed. Can you move it please for tomorrow?”

Laura laughed and responded: “It does for Alex. He always turns it around so he doesn’t have to look at my face, maybe you should try that.”

Pip quipped: “That’s a good idea! Thanks Laura.”

Pip was mainly featuring on the show for the first half an hour before Charlotte Hawkins and Sean Fletcher took over for the bank holiday.

The 44-year-old appeared on the show just two weeks ago to step in for presenting and at that point her followers were certainly happy to see her return.

She previously shared a snap of herself in a stunning floral dress and captioned the snap: “Morning morning! Quick trip into the GMB studio for me today. It’s a busy one, join us until 9am on ITV.”

Her fans quickly filled up her comments to send her love, with one user writing: “Was lovely seeing you on TV!”

Meanwhile, another wrote: “Always good to see you on TV,” and another added: “You are doing a great job Pip. They need you as a presenter.”

She remains on the show this morning as the third host while Charlotte and Sean sit in the main hosting seats, with Pip hitting up Charlotte’s usual spot.

There has been a mix of hosts on this summer holiday and it’s certainly been a busy summer with a number of important topics to discuss.

GMB continues tomorrow on ITV at 6am.
