Eddie the Eagle has revealed he has had “no luck at all” dating since he and his now ex-wife Samantha separated.
The 57-year-old former British ski jumper, whose real name is Michael Edwards, divorced his former partner Samantha Morton in 2016.
The pair married in Las Vegas in 2003 and share two daughters Otillie and Honey May, with Eddie moving into the shed of their joint home in Stroud, Gloucestershire following their split.
Speaking recently, Eddie confirmed he is still single and hasn’t yet been able to find new love.
He also revealed that he is “open to meeting” a new partner.

Eddie told The Sun: “I’m always open to meeting somebody and falling in love again.
“I’ve tried dating apps but had no luck at all.
“I’d prefer to meet someone face-to-face.
“I’ve probably got more chance of meeting someone when I dance and we’ll have a connection.”
The comments follow Eddie previously opening up about how his split from Samantha was the “darkest” period of his life.

He told The Sun in 2016: “It’s been the worst two years of my life. The darkest, definitely.
“I wouldn’t wish it on anybody. But s**t happens.
“You’ve got to think life can give you some bad knocks, no matter how hard you’re knocked you’ve got to get up.
“We are still relatively close and I see the kids as much as I can.”

Eddie rose to fame in 1988 after becoming the first ski jumper to represent Britain at the Olympic Games for over 60 years.
Earlier this year, he was unmasked as Rubber Chicken on ITV reality show The Masked Dancer.
