Danielle Lloyd says 'traumatised' Katie Price will need therapy after alleged assault

Danielle Lloyd says her mate Katie Price would have been left “traumatised” following her alleged assault and that she will most likely need therapy to help heal from it.

The model is very concerned about Katie following the news that a man in his 30s has been arrested and released on bail in regards to her attack.

Danielle, who is now pregnant with her fifth child, spoke on the news that her pal was allegedly punched in an early-morning attack and thinks therapy will help deal with the traumatic event.

Essex Police released a statement on the incident and said: “A man arrested on suspicion of assault, theft and coercive and controlling behaviour has been released on bail until September 20.”

Danielle, 37, told Closer magazine: “It was totally heartbreaking to hear about Katie’s ordeal. I texted her as soon as I heard, but I don’t think she has her phone.

“It really struck me, because I love Katie, if it’s true that she was assaulted I expect she’ll be totally traumatised and would need therapy.”

An insider also told the publication that the star was feeling “emotionally vulnerable” and that many people surrounding her have been concerned following the alleged attack.

Katie also recently vowed in a podcast that she’d never let anyone “destroy” her again, on an audio clip that was recorded before the alleged assault.

Speaking to Simon Thomas on his Life, Interrupted podcast, Katie said: “Do you know what, it’s the first time in 10 years I’m in control of my life and love me or hate me, if it wasn’t for my situation I wouldn’t have been able to start creating this Harvey’s Law, and I’m all for helping people and using my position to be able to help others, especially like Harvey with the disability and to raise more awareness and do what I can now.

“I’m lucky enough to have turned my life around, I am here, I’m switched on and I feel brand new, and no one will ever, ever destroy me again.

The former glamour model is said to be in tatters following the attack

“You know I’ve made mistakes in the past, of course I have, but then people don’t realise I was suffering at the same time. There’s always reasons why people do things and you rebel.

“I can only apologise that sometimes I acted the way I did because I was hurting and I didn’t know how else to let it out.”

She continued: “I’m happy and I’m in a good place and no one is ever going to come near to destroy that again.”
