Lorraine has Ross King in hysterics as she dubs Harry and Meghan film 'hideous'

Lorraine Kelly has returned to the morning show after the summer holiday break and it seems she’s refreshed and rearing to go – and already throwing digs live on air.

The host welcomed Ross King onto the show via video link to give the goss overseas as he spilled on celebs celebrating their children going back to school and even shared a sneak peek of Harry & Meghan: Escaping The Palace.

The film, which is set to be released next week, surrounds the lives of the royals from their exit to their explosive interview, and as Ross shared the snippet, Lorraine appeared dumbfounded.

As the snippet ended, Lorraine said: “Oh God love them. That looks hideous!”

Lorraine returned to ITV to host her show once again

Ross immediately burst into a fit of laughter and was left completely stunned at Lorraine’s quip at the film.

Lorraine added: “It really does!”

It comes as Ross told Lorraine to watch out for the accents of Harry and Meghan, played by Jordan Dean and Sydney Morton.

Sydney had told the camera that she had listened to 30 voice recordings of Meghan to try and perfect her impression of the Duchess of Sussex.

Ross was left chuckling as Lorraine called the film hideous

However, as Lorraine and Ross laughed over the clip, fans were unsure. Taking to Twitter, one user wrote: “I thought both accents were done well? I don’t know what he was on about.”

Meanwhile, others were laughing at her comments as she chuckled alongside Ross.

It comes as the pair were discussing the new film, which will be the third instalment of Lifetime’s movies about Harry and Meghan’s life.

The third in the series will focus on the darker aspects of their life as royals, with discussions of Princess Diana’s death, Meghan’s isolation and her struggles at home.

Their interview with Oprah Winfrey will also feature in the upcoming show.

The film was up for discussion on the morning show as Lorraine returned for the first time since the end of July after taking the summer break off.

Christine Lampard has been hosting the show throughout the summer as Lorraine took some time off – but she’s back with a bang and ready to continue in her hosting duties at least until the next half term.

Lorraine continues tomorrow on ITV at 9am.
