The Chase fans speechless as Shaun Wallace debuts dramatic new look with grey beard

Shaun Wallace made more than one fan gush following his appearance on The Chase on Thursday afternoon.

Indeed, the 61-year-old barrister ditched his signature clean shaved look and joined ITV’s popular game show sporting a new white beard.

Appearing as one of the six chasers on The Chase since 2009, it is safe to say viewers had been accustomed to the intellectual man’s appearance.

As a result, they were very surprised to see Shaun looking wiser with even presenter Bradley Walsh commenting on his new beard and pointing at his resemblance to American actor Morgan Freeman.

Another viewer could not help admiring The Dark Destroyer’s new looks as they wrote: “Wow Shaun rocks a beard.

“Man looks cool. Touch of the Uncle Phil.”

A person on Twitter also noticed Shaun’s ressemblance to the Bruce Almighty actor as he tweeted: “I liked Shaun’s new beard? Really rocking the Morgan Freeman Look.”

However, other Chase fans seemed unimpressed by the telly personality’s new beard as a person wrote: “Shaun Wallace is going through a midlife crisis.”

Another viewer tweeted in disapproval: “Loose the beard Shaun”.

A clean shaved faced used to be Shaun’s signature look

Nevertheless, these remarks did not stop most fans from gushing over the chaser’s appearance as some even changed his nickname to “silver fox”.
