Katie Price is set to make a return to the spotlight and revive her singing career this weekend weeks after she was allegedly attacked.
Glamour model Katie, 43, said she was “punched” during an alleged incident on August 23 which saw police and paramedics attend the scene.
Katie said she was left “dazed and devastated” by the alleged assault.
A 32-year-old man was arrested and held in custody on suspicion of assault, theft, and coercive and controlling behaviour.
He was later released on bail until September 20.
Now Katie is planning a full return to the spotlight at London’s Mighty Hoopla festival at Brockwell Park on Saturday.
The mum-of-five is reportedly still set to take to the stage in an attempt to revive her singing career, organisers have told The Mirror.
Katie will appear on the Pleasure Palace stage at 3.15pm.
Around 15,000 people are set to be in attendance at Mighty Hoopla, one of the first major festivals to go ahead after Covid restrictions were eased.
Also taking to the stage will be stars including Cheryl, Atomic Kitten, Alexandra Burke and Becky Hill.
Katie’s official bio on the festival website reads: “Sure to be a Hoopla highlight (we know what’s being planned) HRH will be joining Love Of Huns and Jayde Adams on stage for An Audience with… Katie Price.”
A quote from Katie on the site read: “I’ll be on stage being me, The Price.”
Katie’s first public appearance since the alleged assault took place was supposed to be at the British LGBT Awards, but her rep confirmed to The Sun she “regrettably” wouldn’t be able to attend “despite her best intentions”.
Katie displayed her bruised face after the alleged incident took place, telling The Sun: “I’m still dazed. I’m devastated.
“I ran away after being punched – I ran to Harvey’s house nearby and have now done damage to my feet, which I previously injured.”
Katie has attempted to begin a singing career at several points in the past, performing tracks including A Whole New World with pop sensation ex Peter Andre back in 2006.
She also vied for a spot at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005, performing in a skintight pink catsuit while heavily pregnant.
The star has even released a selection of solo singles, including Free To Love Again in 2010 and I Got U in 2017.
