Married at First Sight fans rage as Morag 'emasculates' Luke with cruel insult

On this week’s episode of Married at First Sight, contestant Morag Crichton knocked hubby Luke Dawson for six when she took a swipe at his masculinity – all because he failed to make a move on her.

During their honeymoon, she bluntly told him: “I feel like you’re not treating me like I am your wife. I just want you to be a bit more manly. A bit more romantic”.

The Essex beauty then suggested the Welshman needs to man up a lot before she could ever find him attractive.

“I want to fancy you. I do. You’re lovely, but I need more man than boy.”

On top of this, the 31-year-old also tore Luke’s appearance and style to shreds as she questioned whether the couple are meant to be.

The veterinary nurse’s comments left Luke in tears.

As the 36-year-old spoke to the camera, he said she’d confirmed what he already suspected but didn’t want to believe: that Morag thinks he’s not good enough for her.

Her words also left fans of the popular Channel 4 dating show absolutely seething.

One viewer took to Twitter to express outrage: “How are you sitting here telling him you don’t fancy him, emasculating him and expecting him to want to rip your clothes off”.

A second wrote: “Nothing wrong at all with Luke. Morag should be utterly ashamed of herself for putting him down like that.”

But in a major plot twist, Morag recently hinted at the possibility she and Luke might still be married.

On September 2, the reality TV star shared a black-and-white snap of her secret wedding party.

In the shot, Morag can be seen beaming in a strapless midi dress as she cuts into a fancy three-tier wedding cake.

Standing on a sofa to get at the top of the cake, where a Married at First Sight sign rests, she revealed the party was for her friends and family who couldn’t make it to her wedding.

She captioned the pic: “Had the best night celebrating with friends and family last night. The weddings were kept really small and couldn’t have all our loved ones there. So last night certainly made up for it”.
