National Television Awards viewers floored as Matt Lucas reveals slimmed down frame

National Television Awards viewers were left gobsmacked on Thursday night (September 9) when they spotted Matt Lucas on their screens with a dramatic new look.

The 47-year-old comedian won Best Challenge show with his Great British Bake Off co-stars at the star-studded event, which took place at London’s O2 Arena and was hosted by fellow funny-man Joel Dommett.

However, it appears that many fans at home were rather distracted during the ceremony after noticing a change in his appearance.

It comes as Matt’s show, Bake Off, picked up the award for Best Challenge Show, after being nominated alongside hit shows like Love Island and Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
