Professional dancer Giovanni Pernice appeared to be fairly anxious on Monday after his partner Rose Ayling-Ellis compared her dance moves to comical character Mr Bean.
The EastEnders star who made her debut on the pre-recorded launch show of Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday, certainly left her dance partner unsettled as she admitted that she has two left feet.
Uploading a short video of herself and Giovanni on her Instagram stories, Rose said to her fans: “Hello I’m Mr Bean,” after her dance partner introduced her as the funny character.
“And I’m proud to dance like Mr Bean,” she added.
Looking fairly confused, Giovanni asked: “Are you?”
But Rose appeared fairly adamant and replied: “Yeah and on Saturday it will be a sassy Mr Bean.”
Worried, the dance professional replied: “And you think it’s going to work, yeah?”
Giggling, Rose then said: “No. But it will work, it will work! It’s ok.”
But by the end of the short clip, Giovanni cracked the whip and commanded the actress to “practice”.
This year, Rose made Strictly history as she’s become the first deaf contestant to appear on the popular BBC show.
Before her partner was announced on Saturday’s launch, the star revealed how proud she was to break new ground for the programme and the deaf community as a whole.
Rose also mentioned that the response she’s received from the deaf community has been positive and she is pleased to represent.

During her time on the show, Rose will be accompanied by an interpreter throughout.
Last weekend, the star appeared to receive praise from viewers at home, with some loving the fact that she has been partnered with Italian stallion Giovanni.
Taking to Twitter, fans aired their delight.
One fan wrote: “Enjoyed all the #Strictly pairings. Not sure which ones will be great at dancing, but they all seem like they’re having a good time. Do have a soft spot for Rose and Gio though as they are so lovely together.”
Another said: “I absolutely adore rose and gio too, they already look really wonderful together.”
Meanwhile a third excited viewer chimed: “This is going to be a FAB series, so many great pairings! Calling it now. Rose to win.”
