Gavin and Stacey actress Sheridan Smith gave birth to her cute son Billy in May last year.
The 40-year-old – who shares Billy with her ex-fiancé, insurance broker Jamie Horn – has disclosed the little one is named after her late brother Julian.
The revelation came when the Epworth-born star recently took to Instagram, sharing a moving post to commemorate Julian’s 50th birthday.
Captioning the post, Sheridan said Billy’s middle name was picked as a tribute to Julian.
Accompanying a sweet shot of her late brother clambering up a palm tree, she wrote: “Today would’ve been my big brother Julian’s 50th birthday, so I celebrated him with his beautiful nephew Billy “Julian”.
One fan was quick to point out that Julian and Billy look “very alike”.
And another agreed, exclaiming: “Gosh, he is his double”.
The Benidorm actress is clearly smitten with her adorable bundle of joy and has been since he came into the world.
She previously admitted to being over the moon when he made his debut last year as she swung by Instagram to show off the new arrival.
Posting a gorgeous snap of the cutie’s tiny hand, Sheridan penned: “Our little man has arrived! We are both completely overwhelmed with love “.
Friends, family and followers quickly flocked to the comments with their congratulations.
One fan wrote: “Adorable picture. Enjoy every precious minute”.
Another nipped in to say: “I’m so happy for you! God bless you!”
Billy’s welcome arrival was pretty well-timed, allowing Sheridan to finish shooting for new ITV drama Isolation Stories.
The four-part series reflects on life during lockdown, featuring funny, sad, heartwarming and poignant moments from the difficult period.
In the first 15-minute episode, Sheridan stars as heavily pregnant and fed-up Mel, facing the birth of her child without his married dad, who has opted to stay with his wife and kids.
When the star heard about the project, she knew straight away it was for her.
“I am heavily pregnant and have been isolating at home, so I jumped at the chance to make a drama about the massive drama going on all around us right now.
“I think it’s really important to try and reflect what’s happening to us whilst it is still actually happening”.
