After Wednesday night’s episode of ITV ‘s hit soap Emmerdale, many fans were left in fear that Noah will be the centre of a dark storyline involving sexual assault.
Fans have watched Noah, the teenage son of Charity Dingle and Chris Tate, be increasingly fixated on Sarah.
Many have said that after watching the episode, Noah is showing signs of becoming a sexual predator.
One fan tweeted, “Is Noah growing up to be a sexual predator? He’s showing certain signs
Another compared him to Josef Fritzl, a notorious rapist and sex offender, “Noah – you can almost see him becoming another Josef Fritzl – don’t go down into any cellars with him Sarah!!!”
Fans have noticed Noah being “creepy and weird” around girls and predict it may be a dark and difficult road ahead for the teenager.
One fan wrote, “I swear this is how it all starts, Noah needs an eye kept on him the little creep.”
Noah previously lied about Sarah being his girlfriend when she isn’t, and he still hasn’t been caught for rooting through pregnant Gabby Thomas’ underwear and accused of rape in a mix up.
Charity Dingle, Noah’s mum, confronted him after Sarah told him about his worrying behaviour towards girls.
Sarah told Charity: “As soon as he met her he changed.
“He blackmailed me. Said he’d blow my secret unless I carried on seeing her with him.
“He made me invite her round and everything. He’s obsessed with her, it’s gross.”
Charity sat down with both Noah and Sarah which resulted in Sarah storming out.
After Sarah described Noah as having a “pervy little crush” Charity gave her son a talking to.
She said, “I get the part of you looking out for Sarah but why force her to let you see Chloe?
“You fancy her, don’t you? Babe listen – you are allowed to like somebody but you just need to chill out.
“And if she wanted to spend time with you you’d know about it. And let’s be real she’s a bit out of your league.”
Noah insisted: “She likes me, Sarah just keeps getting in the way.”
Charity warned him: “You need to learn that blackmail doesn’t bring all the girls to the yard. Noah I am serious.”
Although fans are spotting the tell-tale signs, some think that the storyline hugely relevant and a good teaching point for young men.
One social media user wrote, “I think this Noah storyline is really important. Boys need to be taught from a young age about consent and what is crossing the line.
“(As do girls but in light of the amount of attacks on women I’m more focused on boys.) Sex education really needs an overhaul.”
