Hollyoaks’ Stephanie Davis takes swipe at people who didn't reach out after miscarriage

Hollyoaks star Stephanie Davis has taken a swipe at some of the people “close” to her who have failed to get in touch with her following her announcement that she’d suffered a tragic miscarriage.

The 28-year-old actress shared a selfie of herself lying awake in bed and confided in her Instagram followers about her sad state of mind.

“Another day in bed. Only just woke up… my body clearly needs it,” the star began.

“Got the worst stabbing pain on my right hand side? Just want this all to be over with now.

“Thinking about all those who have messaged me and can’t help but lie here and think about those close who haven’t,” Stephanie went on.

“Some people are just not nice people obviously.”

The soap star added that she just wanted the pain to go away finally, as she explained also feeling “exhausted and emotionally drained”.

Later on the mum-of-one took to her Instagram again to share her fears about trying for another baby in the future.

Sharing a quote about bravery, Stephanie wrote: “Was anyone else petrified in case it happens again?

“So scared to try again in the future as I won’t relax every day I’ll be stressing that it’s going to happen again. Did anyone else feel like that?“

It comes after the star shared an emotional reel on her instagram showing the rollercoaster of her heartbreaking pregnancy journey, from the many negative pregnancy tests to the moment she saw the positive and her surprise announcement to boyfriend Oliver Tasker.

Stephanie explained that losing her baby was the reason “why she’d been quiet” for the past few weeks.

She added that she had been struggling over whether to make the news public at all but had decided her fans knew her well enough to understand what she’d done through and why she’d been behaving differently.

“I feel all over the place right now and know I was early but it still hurts,” Stephanie shared.

“I seen my whole future ahead of me and had my hand on my stomach every day.

“Just feel so lost right now and my hormones are understandably all over the place. I know one day I’ll get my happy ending but for now I just have to get through this. Sending all my love, Steph x,” the star finished.
