Katie Price could move in with her terminally ill mother rather than returning to her mansion after she completes her rehab programme.
The 43-year-old is currently undergoing therapy at The Priory Rehabilitation Centre after she was arrested on Tuesday morning following a drink-drive crash.
The mum-of-five had her sentencing deferred at her hearing on Wednesday under the condition that she would complete treatment at the facility, not commit any further offences and remain banned from driving – her sentence will now take place in December.
Once she is out of The Priory, Katie may be moving in with her mum Amy, who is living with terminal idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, and step-dad who want to support her.
A source has told The Sun how Katie will stay with her mother until she is well enough both mentally and physically to return to her famous mansion.
The insider said that Katie had previously called her mansion “cursed” and “haunted”, adding that it was bad for her mental health living there.
They added: “Her mum and step-dad want her to move in with them after she’s finished treatment so they can support her.”
Katie’s family have been supporting her throughout, with her step-dad driving her to The Priory Centre following a statement released from the family asking the public to respect Katie’s privacy.
They had said they were concerned for Katie’s mental health after the crash and said they would be supporting her in any way to get better.
Her family have given her nothing but their utmost support in the days that followed the arrest.
Prior to entering rehab, Katie had put plans in motion for the sequel of Harvey’s documentary titled What Harvey Did Next, which was set to follow Harvey’s transition into college life.
However, BBC bosses pulled the plug on the project, which a source told The Sun that Katie understood their decision.
They said: “[She] hopes there may be scope in the future to pick up where they left off. The BBC will want to see what happens before making any decisions.”
